The Miss Alyce Memorial Candle Set includes two jar candles; one April's Tulip and one Caramel Creme. Alyce is the aunt of JayScents founder and she passed away suddenly on March 24, 2021. As she was affectionately known, Miss Alyce loved candles and was once the business partner of our founder when they sold candles for another company. To pay honor to her memory JayScents wanted to create a candle set representative of who she was and what she loved. The yellow tulip was Alyce's favorite flower and April's Tulip was created to celebrate that. When Jason founded JayScents Alyce asked if he could recreate, or get close to, her favorite scent from another company he gladly said yes. After some research and some scent pairing the Caramel Creme fragrance was created.
 
Alyce was a big supporter of minority-owned businesses and she loved supporting charities, causes, and organizations that she believed in. To continue this legacy of giving and support, 50% of the proceeds from each Miss Alyce Memorial Candle Set will go to an organization that Alyce had supported in the past or one that is in alignment with her passions that she would have supported if she were still alive. The recipient for this year is One Love Life Center. They are a non-profit agency strengthening communities through individual empowerment.
